My name is David A. R. Robin. I am currently studying computer science and mathematics at École Normale Supérieure, in Paris. I’m always looking for new opportunities, so if you have a project that could use my help, feel free to send me a message, I’ll be glad to join in.
My research is focused on artificial neural networks, and particularly the study of their convergence and the formal guarantees surrounding it, along with the various way to formalize prior knowledge about the problem to integrate it in a more systematic way into machine learning algorithms. I work mostly with statistics, dynamical systems and high-dimensional linear algebra, with a particular interest for the geometric aspects and empirical validation.
Unrelated academic interests range from formally verified software and statically-typed compiled languages, to algebraic geometry and into knot theory. I am also quite fond of sociology, biostatistics and stellar astronomy, and altogether curious about nearly anything I don’t know about.
